Kinguin support directs prospective merchants to the official sell-on-Kinguin page to submit an application. Start there and confirm the current eligibility rules for your entity, country and inventory.

Explain the business you actually operate

Prepare a concise description of the products you intend to sell, how you source them and how you will handle customer problems. A useful description identifies product types and operational capacity without claiming volumes or supplier relationships you cannot substantiate.

Keep the legal entity, representative and settlement information consistent. If you use a trading name, distinguish it from the legal entity rather than using the two interchangeably. Ask which information must appear on invoices and merchant records.

Questions to resolve in the application

  • Is the proposed product category accepted for this merchant relationship?
  • What source records must be retained or presented?
  • Which document requests apply to this entity and representative?
  • Which settlement currencies and methods can the approved business use?
  • What conditions apply to delivery and dispute evidence?

These are questions for the current onboarding process, not a universal list of required documents. Save the answers with the version of the terms accepted by your business.

Prepare a first catalog batch

Choose a small group of products with clear activation instructions. For each, document the exact edition, supported region, supplier invoice and stock count. Test whether your fulfillment method produces the evidence needed to investigate a complaint.

If you intend to use an API, separate approval for merchant access from integration permissions. Budget development time for product mapping, monitoring and rollback; connecting credentials alone does not create a dependable seller operation.

Existing merchant account questions

For a third-party account offer, get confirmation that the planned change of operator is allowed. Ask how legal, representative and payout information will be updated and which fresh checks may apply. Do not interpret past activity as a guarantee that the account remains usable for your business.
