G2A Seller Fees and Payouts: Build a Net-Margin Model
Separate marketplace charges, settlement availability and banking costs when assessing G2A profitability.
Assess G2A fees using the current official terms and your account's applicable conditions. A headline selling price is not the amount available to withdraw, and a sales balance is not necessarily settled cash.
Separate the layers of cost
Your model should distinguish product acquisition cost, category-specific marketplace charges, any relevant listing or update charges, payout costs, currency conversion and expected incident costs. The official fee table contains different charge types; applying one percentage to every product can produce misleading margins.
Do not treat the account price on KeyMerchantHub as a marketplace transaction fee. It is a separate acquisition expense. Decide how many completed profitable orders would be needed to recover that expense, using your own verified unit economics.
An illustrative calculation
Assume a hypothetical sale price of EUR 20, inventory cost of EUR 14, combined charges of EUR 2 and an incident allowance of EUR 0.50. The contribution is EUR 3.50 before overhead and tax. These numbers are an arithmetic example, not G2A rates.
If you cut the selling price to EUR 18 while the other costs stay the same, contribution falls to EUR 1.50. A small price change can substantially affect the money available for support, replenishment and fixed costs. Repeat the calculation by SKU, not only by average basket.
Payout review
Ask which payout methods and currencies your entity can use, what conditions make a balance available and what fees or limits apply. Confirm these details in the current dashboard and seller terms. Do not promise supplier payments based only on sales recorded today.
Reconcile order IDs against fee entries, refunds, adjustments and withdrawal records. A missing bank payment may relate to processing, beneficiary details or an account review; the relevant status and reference should guide the support inquiry.
Build a cash buffer
Model a slower-settlement scenario alongside your expected case. Calculate how much inventory and incident handling you can fund without immediately withdrawing new sales. Increase stock only when the settlement cycle is understood from actual reconciled records.
See how G2A seller operations work and marketplace comparison criteria. Review the G2A listing separately from operating costs.
Fee reference
G2A terms and fee table control current published charges; account-specific agreements may also matter. Recheck them before pricing or committing inventory.
